Builders of Bridges Across Young Minds Initiative (BBYMI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization building a scalable, alumni-driven capital platform to sustainably finance public secondary and tertiary education in Nigeria.

We believe that long-term transformation in education requires more than short-term funding. It requires permanent financial infrastructure. BBYMI partners with alumni to establish Alumni-Led Endowment Trust Funds that preserve capital, generate recurring investment income, and provide sustainable support for scholarships, teacher development, inclusive education initiatives, and school improvement.

Each Endowment is legally structured, independently managed by a licensed Trustee, and governed by formal committees to ensure transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainability. Through this model, we are institutionalizing sustainable financing within Nigeria’s public school system.

Our vision extends beyond funding. We are building an integrated ecosystem that connects sustainable school financing to youth opportunity and leadership development.

Through our Career Planning and Skills Acquisition programs, we help students align their talents with emerging industries and meaningful employment pathways. Through our Youth Leadership initiatives, we equip young people with ethical foundations, civic responsibility, critical thinking skills, and global awareness.

By combining capital formation with employability preparation and leadership development, BBYMI is creating a pipeline of financially supported schools, opportunity-ready students, and ethical leaders equipped to contribute to national development and inclusive economic growth.

Our long-term ambition is to scale this alumni-led endowment platform nationally, unlocking sustainable education financing across multiple public institutions and expanding access to dignified and fulfilling futures for young people.
